Combined Training Qualifer
Combined Training Qualifer is a Winter Qualifier - it involves a dressage test - usually a Horse Trials one - followed by a round of Show Jumping. The scores are then combined. In 2017 we had both Junior and Senior teams qualifiy for the Championships.

Festival of the Horse
The Horse Trials qualifier is a Summer Qualifer. This runs as a one day event - dresssage, SJ and then Cross Country. In 2017 this took place at Little Downham. We were fortunate enough to have a team qualify and were also asked to help for an Area 7 team at 100+. The Horse Trials Championships took place in early August at Swalcliffe where our teams did very well - the champs runs using the 3 day format including roads and tracks.
We are really proud of Sam Morgan and Big C for getting the Club award for the highest placed non BE member
Below - Barry Meningen and Ina who claimed an individual 5th place - Well Done
Combined Training
WHAT IS COMBINED TRAINING?
Despite its name Combined Training is actually a competition. It involves riding a dressage test followed by a show jumping round. The dressage test is frequently a Horse Trials dressage test. Your show jumping round must be completed shortly after the dressage test - you should have enough time to change tack if needed.
